In November 2020, after review by the Executive Committee of the Global Exhibition Industry Association (UFI), China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center to join UFI was approved and a letter was sent for confirmation. Since then, China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center has officially become a UFI member, becoming the only unit in Wuhan with dual members of UFI and ICCA.

On February 12, 2019, China optics valley convention & exhibition center officially joined ICCA through the strict evaluation standards and procedures of international conference and conference association (ICCA), becoming the first member unit in wuhan.

On April 16, 2019, Mr. Noor Ahmad Hamid, head of the Asia Pacific division of the international association of conferences and conferences (ICCA), visited China optical valley science and technology exhibition center and inspected the exhibition environment and operation of the venue. During this period, Mr. Noor Ahmad Hamid completed the formal award of China optics valley convention & exhibition center successfully joining ICCA.
